Glyphs of zoomorphic images recall the art of the Wari people who reigned over Coastal Peru circa 500 – 750 AD. The pre-Hispanic textiles were developed with highly creative and sophisticated techniques, both for the delicacy of its threads, its colors, the warp and woof of their tissues, and the reasons they represented. Almost all fabrics studied prehispanic recreate the natural world and bring us closer to its natural resources and practices that gave the ancient Peruvians.
